Good Lord, WHAT A DIFFERENCE 20 YEARS MAKES!
Now this is REALLY scary!! On the left: High School 1978, age 16 and my
sophomore year.
With that mop on my head and those terrible teeth I had back then, I don't know how I ever got a girlfriend. Come
to think of it, I didn't. Well, maybe one or two but my virginity wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Sixth grade (AGE 11). Dig that MOD vest baby! These were my "Donnie Osmond look-a-like
years." For what seemed like an eternity I could not go ANYWHERE without somebody telling me I looked like
Donny Osmond. They always thought they were paying me a compliment but I absolutely hated it. I hated him! After
all I was a little kid and he was a teen heart-throb. I was thrilled if I didn't get that comment for an entire
day. It really bugged me back then. Fortunately our looks took off in different directions after age 13 or so.
He went downhill and I developed into the Manly Mountain of Molten Masculinity that I am today! Thanks for the
good genes Dad!

My DAD, about 7 or 8 |
Second grade (AGE 7) with no teeth. (My Dad about the same age on the right for comparison). During the summer
before school started I rode my bike into the back of a parked car and my face went right into the bumper. I remember
the event vividly and it was pretty scary! Lots of blood and six or seven teeth were knocked completely out. I
was one scared little boy that day... After I lost the teeth my father thought it was funny to hand me a piece
of corn on the cob.
