Robert & The VERY HONORABLE Justice Clarence Thomas.

Robert has been a great friend since the day we met in 1986. He was my first training officer at the Police Department after I graduated the academy. I trained with him for eight weeks and probably had more fun in that short time than any other time in my law enforcement career. Robert is one of the VERY FEW (2, maybe 3) people who I trust completely without any reservations. 

He's really a remarkable guy. While working full time as a police officer, he put himself through college and earned a bachelors degree. After that he went to law school, did great and has passed the bar in three states. He joined the Army (as a lawyer) a while back and is now a Captain soon to be Major.

Except for him being an HCMF (inside joke) and me being a Red Sea Pedestrian (another inside joke), we're birds of a feather and I don't thing we've ever disagreed about anything. And neither of us are prejudice.... we hate everybody equally.

And why is he called "Bob Leibowitz" you ask? Well, back in 1998 or 99 I dragged him along to a Jewish singles meeting. Naturally I couldn't introduce him as Robert "Martin" (it's so gentile) so he became Bob Leibowitz for the evening. I must say he played the part well. He talked with his hands and complained the whole night.

Robert met Lara at work and they were married on November 17, 2001. He definitely married UP! On October 28, 2004 they welcomed their first child, Sean Andrew Martin (Republican).
